YIPA Youth Day Event

On the 16 June 2020, the Youth In Property Association (YIPA) in collaboration with Your Fave Corporate Space, commemorated South Africa’s Youth Day with Ms Sonja De Bruyn and Euphonik.

In 1976, young people needed courage to fight against the pandemic of racism that was Apartheid. Today, young people face an uncertain future brought on by another pandemic – COVID-19. We spoke with Sonja to understand how we can step into this uncertain future with purpose and vision.

Sonja is co-founder of Identity Group. She has 22 years transacting and corporate finance advisory experience in Mergers and Acquisitions in South Africa and internationally as well as BEE transactions. She has previously held Non-Executive Director positions at FirstRand, Anglo American Platinum and the National Empowerment Fund. Sonja is currently a Non-Executive Director of RMB Holdings, RMI Holdings, Discovery Holdings and Remgro Group.
