Xabiso Lombo

Xabiso currently works as a Real Estate Agent in Johannesburg.

She holds a Bcom Accounting from the University of Cape Town and currently is a Student at Wits University Studying Property Development and Management.

She is also a member of the Enterprise Development Property Fund which is a network and academy of Property Investors.

Xabiso is an aspiring developer and is making great strides to achieve her dream.

She would one day like to see many more other women entering the space.

Zama Hlophe

I have six and a half years of property experience in the Property Services and Asset Management roles for one of the JSE listed Funds.

 I began a BCom Accounting degree at the University of Cape Town and am currently completing this qualification through the University of South Africa and hold a diploma in Property Development and Investments.

I am a passionate and driven property enthusiast who brings strong management, analytical and deal structuring skills. I was born and raised in the CBD of Johannesburg, where my love for the built environment began and continues to flourish.

Sibiya Sibiya

Sibiya Sibiya is a Quantity Surveying Honours graduate from the University of Cape Town. After completing his honours degree, he joined Cushman & Wakefield Broll in the Transaction Services cluster. In his role, he assists Transaction Managers and Divisional Directors in providing market research and information, managing transactions, negotiating of terms with various Landlords and client reports on behalf of large, multinational blue chip corporates in South Africa and across Africa.

Sibiya is also passionate about residential property development. This passion led him to starting his own YouTube channel called Let’s Prop’In which is centered around showcasing some of the most extraordinary homes in South Africa.

Qualifications: BSc. In Construction Studies (UCT), BSc (Hons) in Quantity Surveying (UCT)

Thembeka Zama Ngomane

Zama has a passion for all things property and holds a BSc Construction Studies and a BSc Quantity Surveying (Hons) from the University of Cape Town. She has invaluable on-site experience in both the project management and quantity surveying arenas.

Zama has been involved in labour and material management, health and safety and other construction related legislation. More recently she has worked as Project Administrator and Bid Co-ordinator gaining an insight into contract management, procurement processes and bidding processes.

Lesedi Kumalo

Lesedi Kumalo is a Town Planner and Quantity Surveyor who has been with YIPA for three years helping high school students explore career options in the property industry. Lesedi is also dedicated to helping the property and construction industry become more recognized and respected. Lesedi Kumalo is an experienced property develop, which gives her the skills to do feasibility studies at her job.

Lesedi Kumalo has been able to use their skills in Town and Regional Planning and Honours in Quantity Surveying from Wits and UJ to carry out successful work. Lesedi’s experienced in the construction and property industry. What gets them excited in the morning is helping others learn about this field.

Williams Ogounga

Williams is a member of Youth in Property Association, Johannesburg. Williams is currently in an intern at Investec, wealth & Investment International. Williams works closely with individual clients to plan and manage their wealth, and with charities, trusts, and clients of professional advisers to help deliver optimal returns on their investments and bring financial peace of mind. Currently on a 12-month rotational program within various teams such as tax/fiduciary, investment, and wealth management. In addition to the rotational program, tasked with coordinating, enabling & collaborating with various stakeholders found within the business on specific initiatives directed at private bank/private clients (data analysts). Williams has a Bachelor of Commerce in law, with a major in taxation and is currently pursuing a postgraduate diploma in business administration at Wits Business School. Williams is currently a candidate to sit on the board of an NPO.

He aspires to work and partner with individuals/intuitions within the property sector.
